Renewed Houthi Attack May Have Halted Suez return

A renewed Houthi attack on commercial shipping appears to have complicated the recent return of vessels to the Suez Canal route. This week, a Saudi-linked crude carrier was struck by a missile, causing a fire on its main deck. Momentum had previously been building, with MSC routing seven vessels through the region in a fortnight and Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd and CMA CGM gradually returning selected services.
